Meet Victoria

Victoria is a Colorado native and has spent most of her career working in nonprofit organizations, which, due to her passion of lending a hand to others, led her to create in 2016 The Heart of Your Community.

 

If there were volunteer activities, you could find Victoria at many. If there’s a baseball game, you may find her selling you a ticket or watching from the stands. If there are sandy beaches, she’ll be dipping her feet in the ocean.

 

Thrilled with helping young Girls and Women, she’ll be there to help lead the way to encourage and support your Daughters, Nieces, Mothers and any aspiring entrepreneurs you may know – for they are the heart of our communities!

Meet Mary

Mary found her way to the Colorado Front Range in 2008, by way of Chicago. She attended school for Journalism at Columbia College and served as the Chief-of-Staff for former Illinois State Senator Martin Sandoval.

 

After running several successful restaurants, she decided to use her Covid furlough time to break into a new industry. She joined Fairway Independent Mortgage in June of 2020 and quickly moved her way up from loan set up to licensed Loan Officer.

 

Mary met the love of her life, Grey Hansen, in Boulder. They lived and taught English in South Korea in 2011/2012 and have traveled to 20 different countries together since then. They welcomed their son, Levi, in October in 2019.

 

She loves to cook, read, listen to history podcasts, and rock climb. Mary is also training to run the Chicago Marathon in October 2023.

Meet Piler

When you see or hear the name Pilar, you might easily envision a "Pillar of Strength."  Yes, indeed, she is that.

 

Pilar is a native Coloradan born and raised in Southern Colorado in a coal mining community, family of nine. She is a wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and auntie.

 

After a lengthy career in the telecommunications industry, she moved on to pursue her passion for helping others discover their own potential and continuing to improve their own health and well being.

 

She has had a very successful practice in the wellness industry as a Certified Massage Therapist and continues as a wellness advisor working with nutritional products from Life Force International.

 

She also has a passion for working with and mentoring young women which is why she is so excited to support and work with "The Heart of Your Community"!
